Meet the Owner - Christian McPherson
Hi, I’m Christian McPherson, the owner of Steelhead Electric. I’ve been working in the electrical industry for 10 years, but my journey began right after high school. I noticed that many companies didn’t want to take on smaller residential jobs, which left a gap in the services available to our community. That’s why I started Steelhead Electric—I wanted to offer reliable, high-quality service to the people of North Central Washington.
My approach to customer service is simple: communication is key. I make it a priority to show up on time, walk you through your options, and help you understand what you need. I also believe in keeping our schedule flexible, so you don’t have to wait too long to get the help you need.
The best part of my job is seeing everything work as it should when the job is done. It’s a great feeling to know that I’ve helped make someone’s home a little safer and more comfortable.
When I’m not working, I love to spend time outdoors. You might find me mountain biking, skiing, or fishing around Wenatchee. These activities keep me grounded and remind me of the beauty of the area we’re fortunate to call home.

Some contractors will show up and work on day one but then disappear and only come back to work sporadically after that. However Steelhead Electric laid out a very condensed timeline of work dates. He began working promptly at the expected time in the morning and worked throughout the day until his scheduled departure time, late in the afternoon. He demonstrated excellent communication, planning and execution skills. At the initial consultation, he actively listened to my electrical needs. Then, he presented a detailed and thorough plan at a very competitive price and he made sure that I understood all of the steps involved. Also, he patiently explained the legal requirements that the state electrical inspector would be looking for upon inspection.
