Old exterior light fixtures on commercial buildings tend to get ignored until something fails completely. But by that point, the damage is already done - rust has eaten through the lens, the wiring inside the junction box is a mess, and the whole setup is overdue for replacement. That's exactly what we ran into on this job.
The original fixture had a rust hole burned straight through the center of the lens cover. The junction box behind it wasn't much better - bare wires hanging loose, wire nuts barely holding connections together, and the whole thing mounted in an open wood frame that had seen better days. Not the kind of thing you want sitting on the exterior of a commercial property.
We pulled the old unit out, cleaned up the junction box work, made sure everything behind the wall was done right, and installed a clean modern LED fixture in its place. Neat conduit runs, solid connections, properly seated in the ceiling. The kind of work that holds up long-term instead of just getting by.
The difference with LED on an exterior commercial fixture isn't just about looks. It's brighter, more reliable, and draws less power than the older-style units. For a building that needs consistent lighting after dark - whether it's for security, visibility, or just keeping things looking professional - that matters.
This is the kind of work we do all the time for commercial properties around Wenatchee. If your building has fixtures that are rusted out, flickering, or just haven't been touched in years, we can take a look and get things sorted out properly.
