Most people planning a kitchen or primary suite remodel put all their energy into cabinets, tile, and fixtures. Electrical is almost always an afterthought. But here's the thing - if you bring your electrician in late, you end up making compromises. Outlets in the wrong spots. Lighting that was never planned for the actual layout. Switches that are just wherever they fit. We've seen it too many times.

On this kitchen and primary suite remodel, we were part of the conversation early. That made a huge difference. The kitchen got a full lighting plan - recessed cans positioned to work with the layout, plus a custom mountain-silhouette pendant hung over the island as the centerpiece. It's a statement piece, and getting the wiring right for something like that takes more thought than just pulling a wire to the ceiling.

The little stuff matters just as much. Matching outlet colors to the tile backsplash, placing switches where they actually make sense in the flow of the room - those are the kinds of decisions that separate a finished kitchen from a really finished kitchen. We handle all of that as part of our residential remodeling services, because the details are what you notice every single day.

The primary suite got the same treatment. Recessed lighting in the bathroom, a properly wired fan and ventilation setup, and clean lighting in the walk-in closet so it's actually functional. Everything was run cleanly and finished out to match the quality of the rest of the space. That's what good remodel wiring looks like.

If you're planning a remodel - kitchen, bathroom, primary suite, whatever it is - get your electrician involved early. It's a lot easier to plan the electrical around the design than to retrofit it after the fact. We do this kind of work on residential remodels of all sizes, and we're happy to walk through what your project needs.
